The British Alembic so to speak. Never played one but they cetainly have built a following since Mark King used them from 80 on...
I used to see Level 42 all the time in the early 80's in the South East and London. Every time I saw his playing it inspired me to practice more!

I've had 2 Jaydees and played many more. A couple I didn't like, but most were great. Had a white MK that was blinding but had to get rid to pay for a new sofa; boy was I happy (NOT!). FWIW John Diggins who makes these basses is the man who just did the truss rod work on my 72. Met Mark King a few years ago; lovely bloke and great player.
