I bought two of those toasters from Music 123. They are guitar toasters. I believe someone said they are the same as the bass except for.....I forget. The bass ones have a different part number, so could someone tell me again what the difference is?

Is it an issue? I want to put one in my "project", and I'm hoping to use one as trade bait for a horseshoe. I may even go the route of a fake horseshoe cover. It's the look I'm after as I actually haven't heard a horseshoe in action!

The difference is that the # 0030 guitar toasters have slightly larger, non-threaded mounting holes, and the # 0031 "bass" toasters have threaded mounting holes for machine screws that go through the pickguard for height adjustment. It really is not a big deal, just get the appropriate size screws and nuts that will work.
