Interesting that the back of the neck has had the finish removed.
Might put some people off but I suppose from a practical point of view if You get sweaty hands when playing it could be useful.

When I bought my 4003 last Year here in the Uk, the dealer said he has a guy who comes in and has had the finish removed from the back of the neck on all his Rics....wonder if this one was owned by him..

The only real way to keep the finished necks "fast" in my expierience is to keep them waxed, with some good carbuna based wax. Moreso in humid climates.

Same as Bob's 4002????
