RIC factory tour

Hey, all, I was perusing the VoxTalks archives and came across a thread I started about a year and a half ago after John Hall kindly gave my wife and I a tour of the factory. The VT archives are open to everyone (though it's not possible for anyone to post there) so I thought I'd post a couple of links since it's easier than reposting everything:
Thread with first half of tour info
Then Nick archived the board and a new thread had to be started:
Thread with second half of tour info
I hope someone finds this interesting and/or enjoyable.

Oops. I apologize to anyone who clicked on the first link -- I pasted in the wrong link. It's corrected now.
Again. Jeez, I'll get this right eventually. Both threads should come up okay, now.

It was so cool that I kept forgetting to take photos. I think I stood around with my mouth hanging open for most of the tour.

Wow! A pic of the dumpster bass in the finishing room.
I really like that 4005 with the long slash soundhole!

Something doesn't look right in that second half of photos...
Anybody care to guess what it is?

So Kevin, how did you swing the tour anyway? Those are great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I'm pretty sure it was the cookies that closed the deal.
(and Ben, are we talking one photo or several?)
