My page about their first 13 Pye tracks has been rewritten. A lot of "New" stuff has been added. Hope you like it. (By the way, I started working for my next new page about Have You Ever Loved Somebody)

Another fine bit of work Michael. You have raised an interesting question in your article in reference to Love Potion No. 9Quote:I wonder how the Searchers felt to be successful with a song sung by TonyThis would be a great question for John McNally, Frank Allen and Mike Pender. I wonder how many US fans recognized that it wasn't Mike Pender.

I also found your comment about Tony Jackson being designated as the lead singer, probably by Tony Hatch, to be a good one. This was indeed in sharp contrast to the decision that Brian Epstein made to promote The Beatles as a group rather than three singers backing a lead singer as was done with Tony. While the fans may not have taken note of this promotion, I am sure that the other Searchers did and it must have offended them, especially Mike Pender and Chris Curtis who were lead vocalists ever much as good as Tony. Do you suppose that this move was the beginning of the end for Tony?
