I have 3 Rickenbackers and I really don't think I can keep them all because of some new expenses(braces for my son)so I have to decide which one to keep:My 2005 330FG/12,my 1983 620FG/6 or my 1999 1997FG/6.I love them all but I can't keep them all.Which would you pick if one of these was to be your only Rick?

Sorry to hear this Mitch. If selling your son is totaly out of the question, I would keep the 1997 (unless you want to sell it to me!). It is a classic Ric with a classic sound.

I recently decided to thin my heard & sorted three gtrs that had to go. I have had severe second thoughts & have decided to swap two for two other Rics & keep the third....job done!

If all things were equal (no sentimental value or anything) I'd keep the 1997, then the 330/12 then the 620/6.

Could I get a picture of you holding that sign, dressed in your magician's robes, for my website?

I pretty much agree with Ethan.

Firstly, if you've got 2, ONE of them should be a 12-er, so that's your 330/12 safe.

Secondly, choosing between your 6 stringers is just toooo easy Mitch.

And you know it

Mitch so you will be selling your 620/FG 6 then? That's too bad. No other valuables that you can dump first?

I would sell my amps before my guitars. You can always replace an amp (unless it is something like a 60's AC30). Good luck. Keep us posted on your decision.

Repaint your son turquoise if you must, but leave that poor guitar alone!

I would say keep the 1997, followed closely by the 12 string....for obvious reasons. Its never easy to part with loved ones

Mitch, is it possible to get a better payment plan from the dentist? if not, find another guy who will work with you. I just went thru this with my daughter.

Any dentists on the Forum?

I take that back, they'd want the 1997, then the 12, then the 620, then...

I hear that 'souls' are skyrocketing in value these days (wars, disasters, etc). Thought about selling yours, Mitch? You seem like a pretty good bloke - I bet it would pull a handsome price!!

Such a shame to break up the collection.......
