Tailpiece mod.

When I get another Ric tailpiece,I'm going to braze up the two extra holes weld a plate to the back underside drill holes accessible from the string slots to anchor to the bass,cut the slot for that vintage look and have it re chromed thats what Ric should have done ,Maybe they will.

You should also do the Arnquist mod for intonating the bridge more easily.

To cut down the wall section I just used a 9/16" drill bit in a drill press and carefully lined the drill bit up with the wall and it drilled the wall out just fine.

What is the advantage can you intonate with the strings in tune???
