Having my Yamaha 12 string acoustic "borrowed" and never returned was one of the biggest reliefs of my life!

J Phelps- your battle of the bands would be quite interesting... Rick guitars and basses against Christmas bells and bass drums.
By The Way.. I don't think that Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker was posthumously promoted to General... it must be someone else.

Wow, you guys sound like you really know a lot. Maybe you can help me. I bought some news bass strings and cut them three times but they're still too short. What should I do?
I also saw an ad for a bass boat. How do these work? Can I plug in my bass directly? They seem really cool, what with that sparkly paint that looks like a Kustom amp, but I can't seem to find a drum boat or guitar boat for the rest of my band. I think I'd feel pretty foolish being the only guy in the band who can play his bass out on the lake.

Don & Craig:
To answer your question.
Greg Lake was a bass player, so it is possible
I don't know if he played bass on the lake with Muddy or Roger Waters though.

So Don, are you saying that I can catch bass on my bass boat, but that I can't play with my bass? Hmm, that would explain the guy telling me he could tune a piano, but couldn't tuna fish. I really think this whole discussion is baseless.
