McCartney In Philly

Ok, My brother and I haven't missed a McCartney tour since he started touring again in 89 or 90. Every time we've seen him he seems to sound better and better, I was really really impressed with Paul's voice, and the sheer talent of his band.
The set was the same as Greg's review from opening night. But there were some interesting happenings. First the band came on and got into Magical Mystery Tour, when the curtain lifts Paul's mic went up with it. The look on Paul's face was priceless, the band didn't miss a beat as they laughed and played while Paul waited for a new mic.
Seeing and hearing some of the songs he pulled out was amazing. There were soo many highlights that it's tough to pick favorites. Helter Skelter just blew me away, his vocal ability at that age is mind blowing, at least to me.
We got into the arena and went for a couple beers before the show. As we're standing there talking a couple walks by with their 3 young kids dressed in Sgt Pepper outfits, they were soo adorable. Anyway, Paul introduces Brian and Brian makes a point to say that he sees these young kids in the audiance. And wouldn't you know it, Paul comes out for the final encore and brings these 3 kids out on stage. They were on stage dancing, then they end the song and the kids get in line, hold hands with the band and they all take a final bow together. It was such a heart warming moment that I'm sure those kids, and their parents will never forget.
If you have the chance to see Paul on this tour do yourself a favor and go, it's a great show!!
