What kind of 4003 is this?

This shop in Holland has got a 4003 for sale. But the neck looks a bit different from a normal 4003. Anyone know which model this is?

that is a 4003s made somewhere between 1986 and 1997 ... that is a discontinued model ... it looks like the strap buttons are missing ...

By my calculations, that 1970 bass should be around $1559US.
refined, some changed parts, but rare as heck...

From what I remember, the first of the "V" series (B series?) had an extra dot on the neck...looks like what they put on that 4003S?
The Smith book showed the early ones.

I've e mailed and called the guy and have the Europe contacts working on the white bass...

Andrew, is that rectagular inlay correct? I just looked at "the Yes Album" but it's too blurry to see the last position marker.

I need better pics and a fill in on the history. But, put a vintage white guard on that and it could be cool.

Ive played that white one in the store. As far as i remember it wasn't in a really great condition..
