Actually looks like pretty nice grain on that wood...too bad. A little more care it *might* have been a decent looking bass. Amazing that the front is not that bad, but that back...e-gawd!
This guy still has the nerve to say this is real. I'm pretty sure he got a lot of e-mails last time about this one...

I had messaged the seller about the "origins" of that bass, and he responded. This is the "new" owner of this bass that was on eBay a month ago or so. He bought it for $350 on Craigslist. Had no idea it was a copy, but thought that the plate on the back was a result of a repair. He heard from three people in the first half hour of the listing about it being a fake. He pulled the listing and is going to try to sell it locally. I told him he might be able to get $500 if he could find the right buyer. Sounds like an OK guy.
This is a prime example of being nice to sellers on the 'Bay. Most of them are just honest guys. If we can help, maybe they can help us.

I enjoy helping them out, but when they reply with an attitude of me writing them to boost my massive ego and I obviously have no idea what I'm talking about, that gets my feathers ruffled a little bit.

Yeah, but that was the previous seller, I'll bet.

This guy must be VERY gulable. I love how all the things that prove it's a fake are so easily explained away in the description.

Yes, I see he turned to Craigslist to pass off that piece of garbage. The new guy got taken, unfortunately...
