Sheesh! Took people long enough to notice that. I saw it a short time after JH posted it and waited for a long time to post a reaction. I can't believe people weren't all over this right away!

Just as interesting, look at JH's remarks regarding f holes on this thread.

In my opinion, f-holes are boring. The triangle holes are a Rickenbacker trademark. Everybody else has f-holes. Besides: such a modification would not have the slightest impact on the sound or the playability of the guitars. There are other modifications that would make a lot more sense, like wider necks f.e.

Cool. Bring 'em on. 1pm or 2pm or both. Great news.

Besides the 325 C making its way on the market, at least in Japan in the near future, JH also says, paraphrasing, something else will be unveiled as well at the Yokohama Music Fair in November.

That would be the new line of Rickenbacker footwear for the active man/woman, available in many 'Comfortglo' styles....

The plot thickens....but F holes are great. Boring? Rics with F holes are still unmistakeably Rics, but with that little extra that pleases a lot of Brits & I suspect a lot of other friends around the world!

I love the slash, but wish the F hole was available as an option on all Rics!

I agree, Tony, about the option, but if the forthcoming project does have an f hole I will be pleased to see one on any new or resurrected model.

Ric's "F" Hole guitars are a great departure from their signature sound hole IMO. I too wish that they were more readily available.

They are; you just can't see them unless there's a guitar built around them!
