for me that is a classic bass ... the only things I would change is to repaint the back of the neck and to widen the bridge spacing and possible put a jazz pickup in the mute cavity ... but the white with black trim on a 4003s5 is a very classic 80s look ...

It's not like you cannot resell all of your new basses, equal to or greater than what you paid.
That's what I tell my wife anyway.
