George was recording a new album just before his death. New recording with 11 tracts should be out sometime this Fall!

I'm with you on this one Jeff. It was a very sad moment when I learned of George's death. Since that time, I was hoping that there would be a release of some previously unreleased material. With Jeff Lynne onboard it should be well produced.

Right you are Peter! Also of note, George's back catalog is going to commence starting with 'The Concert For Bangladesh' at the beginning of next year (2003). All the other reissues will continue throughout 2003 and will contain unreleased bonus tracks similar to what was presented on the remastered "All Things Must Pass". It will be well worth the wait.

I guess I'd better start saving now. I have really enjoyed the remastered "All Things Must Pass."

Also George spoke many times in interviews before his death about a multi-disc boxed set of unreleased material coming out at some point. Hopefully this will come out after completion of his back catalog being reissued. All of these projects were finalized before his death. We shall see.

I just picked it up in my travels and what a breath of fresh air : great music and some very mystical and profound lyrics.

I've been really enjoying this record ... he left us a beautiful epilogue.

It's selfish for us to wish he were still here, given his strong beliefs concerning the Afterlife.

God's Peace, George, God's peace !

I was hoping for another "All Things Must Pass" or "Cloud 9" instead of a "Somewhere in England" type of material. I think 'Brainwashed' is a great rocker out of the picks from the cd.
