What is the approximate delivery time for a Rickenbacker 730 acoustic? They look very yummy.

I don't believe that RIC is currently taking new orders for their acoustics until they clear out some of their production backlog.

I recall JH saying that one of the problems is the lack of suitable personnel in the SoCal area.

Actually, it's not the people, it's the cost of living.

As in...... nobody's prepared to move there because the cost of living isn't commensurate with income?

No, Paul, Howard had it right. We pay our people so much that they just can't find enough things here to spend all their money on.

Well, then, John, do you have any openings at RIC? I'm sure I can find LOTS of things to spend my money on!

I would move to California to work for Rickenbacker. Of course, if you needed someone with certain skills... err... ANY skills I am not your man. But if you want someone to just sweep the floors and gawk at the wall of Rickenbackers I am your man!

That'd be better than what we have now. He just sweeps the wall of Rickenbackers and gawks at the floor!
