I know many of you have dealt with Parks and it looks like I am about to as well. As many of you know, I want a black trc and pickguard for my 80 4003 Jetglo. After weeks upon weeks of looking and even considering buying a bass that had those parts and swapping them out, I think I'll just do the $45 trade off and get Pickguardian to send me a pickguard.

Sounds good. Mike is a great guy to deal with. A few weeks ago, I ordered an Ac'cent Vibrato for my 330, but he sent me a lefty one by accident. I emailed him and told him, and he told me to send it back and he'd give me the righty one with a free RIC polish cloth. Well, two days later, there was the Ac'cent, before I even had a chance to pack the lefty one!

I've also bought two Ricks from him, he's a great guy to deal with.

You can swap out a white trc for a black trc directly from Rickenbacker ... I think the cost is $25 or $20 ...

Also Mike Parts is a good guy to do business with ...

I forgot that still RIC had any more TRC's available in black, but that's what they use on the 4004Cii, but the letters are gold, which looks good with the gold hardware.

I just got two black truss rod covers from RIC with chrome raised lettering for my double neck project. Just call Kenny and give him your bass's serial number, tell him what you want and he'll give you an authorization number that you send in with your truss rod cover core. That's the part that hurts. While I had one really ****** cover I paid ten bucks for, I also had to give them the really nice one of of my 4003 soon-to-be 8-string. The price was right so it didn't hurt TOO much.

Dane, that's the way I'm going, but there seems to be a twist in their rules. Check your email.
