Thanks, guys. You are very kind. I am an old Beatles/Byrds fanatic from way back. That Rick 12 string sound runs through my veins. The Moonricker has 7.4 scatterwounds and when I play it through my Route 66 compressor it is the closest thing I have found to "the sound." Now if I could just play it like they did.
My other Rick, a model 1997, is the next photo, which was made by Chris at Pick of the Ricks where I bought both of them. This guitar also has the vintage pickups and is the easiest playing, best sounding six string yours truly has ever owned, which includes several Fender Strats. Chris suggested I string it with Pyramids and what difference that made in the sound and playability.
