...looks like the chrome parts (except tuners), knobs, body white plastic cover and the PUs are original. If so, the price is hot. Somebody snap it for replacements!

Hmm... I just took a look at the other pictures of the above 4001 copy, and I don't think there's one single Rickenbacker part on it - not even the toaster p.u. cover which does indeed look like the real thing though. Sorry.

I remember playing a MG Univox copy of a 4001 back in the 70's that had a bolt on neck like this one. It looked just like a 4001, except for the neck plate. Wasn't a bad bass.

Funnily enough I was in a guitar shop in Tokyo about three weeks ago and thought for a moment I'd found a check binding 4003 - then saw the TRC. I forget the actual name but it was a pretty good attempt.
