Can anyone put my mind at rest?
I have just measured the resistance values of the Hi-Gain pick-ups on my 360WB 6 string. I am a little concerned because the neck pick-up value is 15Kohm and the bridge pick-up value is 6.5Kohm. Is this right? The neck value seems very high. The Bridge pick-up alone is thin and jangly and in the middle position with the blend pot works nice and sweet but the neck on it's own is quite loud and thicker.
I'm not very up on Rickys so any help would be deeply appreciated.

You are having some circuit interferance .

At least that is one explanation .
the reason is , I'll guess that you have the .0047mfd cap in the circuit . This is connected to the bridge pickup vloume control and then that runs to a lug on the switch .

The neck pickup is connected to TWO volume controls .
One is the standard , and the other is the 5th knob . (for a full explanantion of what the 5th knob is/does -go the the archives and look up "what does the 5th knob do?" I wrote a long posting on that subject .)
Because of these two pots (they are either 250K ,500K or 1meg ) ... that is where you are getting that weird reading .

to get the resistance of just the pickup , disconnect the HOT of each pickup at the switch . Leave the ground / earth connected . Then check them .

I bet you get a different reading .
