I just got this today:

This is a Quik-Lok GS-430, they also make models to fit 5 or 7 instruments. Highly recommended. Image

Looks like it is better than the Warwick RockStand. I have a 5 position one of those for gigs, since I take 3 to the show.

Jeff, will you be bringing that stand to MARC? I'd like to take a closer look......

It will be there. I bought it so that I'd have enough stands for the instruments I am bringing.

I checked out the Warwick before ordering this. Quik-Lok makes great stands and I like the supports they use better than the foam on the RockStand.

Here are detail shots of the neck and body cradles.

I have a Warwick rockstand for my 72 4001, 96 4003, and Jazz. Not a fancy as yours but I like that style of stand a lot... very hard to knock over.

The design of this one is also very strong and it will accomodate acoustic guitars. The front two casters have locks on them to keep it in place on hardwood floors.

I'm assuming you don't have to worry about the dreaded "bleed" onto the finish from the stand's contact points? As you can probably tell, it's been years since I've bought any, but I recall one of my first stands had that yellowish rubber stuff - luckily I didn't use it all that much, and it's long gone.

They're injection molded plastic it says on the site. I was just checking these out on Sunday. They look pretty good. They also make a revolving display stand, for those of you with larger collections, though they only show acoustics on the rack. Don't know the weight restrictions, if any.
They do look sturdy, & they fold up for transport!

It's: www.quiklok.com
It doesn't seem to be up at the moment, though.
