Albeit it's not the biggest hit by this artist, i like it more that's why it was posted. His biggest hit was successfully covered and made it to a movie in 90s.
Identify: a) artist's true name; b) title of this song; c) title of his biggest hit and the movie. Chart positions & dates - optionally.
Special note for Roy: i'm sure you'll recognize it from the very first chords and come up with a detailed answer immediately, so may i ask you to please wait until, say, tomorrow afternoon - maybe somebody else would come up with the answer?..
Cheers, SC.

Will Do Sheena, some of our friends on here may struggle though as artist meant nothing in States.
Sounds like another re-recording Sheena

Sheena: The song is Little Things and to me sounds a lot like Dave Holgate Grundy or Dave Berry. To me his biggest hit was The Crying Game which I believe was a number five hit for him. It seems to me that Little Things was equally successful. I may have missed the mark on this one, given your comments. I know Little Things from Bobby Golsboro's version. Berry does a great job though. In any event, the move was The Crying Game.

Brilliant, guys (how could i ever doubt you, Peter!)!
Roy: bet it is a re-recording, it's the same compilation i referred to in another thread.
One more question left: dates? (said it's optional, but just to fulfill the list).

No didn't Peter because you are correct not as good as Berry's version.
Year was 65 Sheena and Peter already gave chart position, which was number 5

Sheena: Think I deserve some sort of a prize. I can't listen to the sound files at the office, but from your initial hints I was thinking Dave Berry and 'The Crying Game'. I've heard his version of 'Little Things', but of course there's no way I could know what the song was without hearing it.
