Hey Ken,
Shouldn't that bass have a broken tooth bridge? It's kinda hard to see from the pix.

I have not done a thing to the bass since I got it,If anybody ever saw this thing in person the fretboard alone would knock your socks off, this thing looks so clean in every respect its not funny Im not exagerating,It is the cleanest bass I have.......Its a time capsule.

Ken, did you ever figure out what the deal was with the mark above the treble pickup? Is that under the finish? Is it a filled screw hole? I remember you commenting on it when it was last on ebay.

Good luck and I hope you get your BIN. I won't feel so bad about what I paid for my '73 then.

"Its a ding"
What do you think caused the apparent dark staining? Kind of odd for a ding.
My fireglo has a wood imperfection on the top horn... there is a small slice of wood that is darker but it is not obvious since it is under the darker red finish. I always guessed your bass had a similar issue.

Its a ding,I dont know how else to describe it it is an imperfection in the wood caused by something its not a hole or a filled hole its a dent maybe a small knot??????

It looks like a knot. Just a darker spot that you see every now and then. I have a small one on the front of my white RM, just underneath the bridge.

A tad nit-picky, aren't we guys?

It's a beauty, no matter what!

And he's got a nibble. Easy on that line, now . . .
Low-rated bidder. Careful . . .
