What kind of amp do you use?

With all of the nice Ricks on this site, I have to ask, what kind of amps is everyone playing those sweet guitars though? My amp of choice is a solid-state Ampeg VH-140C that I purchased new in 1999. I am so pleased with the sound of my 360 through this amp that I only use the stock footswitch to choose between channels. I occasionally use a wah pedal but the amp gives me every sound I need.

I mostly use a Peavy 212 Stereo Chorus with my 350. But I also use a Model T Sunn with 610 Bottom. The Sunn unit is a particularly good amplifier when used in conjunction with my 360/12.
I have also just purchased a Fender Twin Reverb. I have not received it yet, so the jury is out on that one. I think that you will find that many on the forum use a Vox AC30 for their Rics.

I was using a 1972 Fender Twin Reverb which is a really sweet sounding amp (even has a set of RCA tubes in it) but 6 weeks ago I got a new AC30 CCx2 with the blue speakers, well this amp is the best thing to plug a RIC into, my 330/12, just comes to life. I also like the way my 610/6, Casino and Gibson 335 sound with a decent amount of overdrive.
There is some bad reviews out there about the new AC30 but mine has worked well for me for about 4-5 hours a day for the last 6 weeks.

I like Fender tubes, clean and not too much color.

I use several amps, depending on what kind of sound I'm going for. A Korg reissue Vox AC30 from 1993, a Sovtek Mig50H Midget for heavy distortion, a Mesa Dual Rectifier for heavy distortion, and a custom Silvertone 1484 that I repaired and modded.

I use both a Roland JC-120 and a Vox AC30-CC1 (haven't tried them both together yet through stereo). The Roland is brilliant for that lovely 'jangly' 12 string sound when using chorus. The Vox is fantastic clean with a Janglebox, and sensational with heaps of overdrive with any of my Ricks with vintage pickups. The Gibson SG and ES-335 sound awesome to!! I also sometimes use a Tonelab SE with the Vox.

Mesa Boogie DC-2 combo, and hopefully soon, a Fender Princeton Reverb.

Mesa Boogie DC-5 combo. This one is my favorite.
Modded Fender Blues Jr. Mods are different tone stack caps. This puts it more in line with a Princeton Reverb tone stack. Adjustable bias and a Eminence Swamp Thang speaker.
Silvertone 1483 head (Danelectro built).

Right now i'm using a Mesa Maverick 2x12. Class A, very nice amp. Got it for free, too!
I'm also in posession of a Bogner Shiva, which i'm desperatley trying to sell. Way too much amp for me.
I'd like to add a Vox AC-30, and I may just do that soon, if all goes accordingly.
I've owned an AC-30, Twin Reverb, Orange OR80, Marshall JCM900, Mesa Tremoverb. I'm never satisfied!

Roland JC120 and Traynor YC20 (Class A tube, 15W).
LOVE them both.
Might add a Bogner Metropolis eventually.

660/12FG through Vox Valvetronix AD120VTH head with 2 AD212 bottoms, Tonelab through a Crown powered PA, VC12 controls both simultaneously. When I need small, either the head and 1 bottom or for jam nights where the PA is provided, the Tonelab. I'll pick up a Vox AC15CC1 when they become available. I need a 350V63 next.
