CAT STEVENS!!??!!?

I had read on McGuinn's site that they'd got together and he was to play his Rickenbacker for her recording.

Just saw her last night & she did TTT. There were several other T's there as well. She did 8 tunes from the CD. Got my pic taken w/her too. Great show. She didn't mention Cat Stevens. I'd love to hear that.

I love Dolly but I'm not sure if this works for me.
I assume that was Camilla taping.

And doesn't that guy at the board look like he could be Roger's son?

Is he billed as Cat Stevens or Yusuf Islam? All that time away from music in total devotion to his faith...but he couldn't resist a duet with Dolly Parton...sounds too weird to be true!

Eyes up here, Yusuf!

Billed as Yusuf (but they always seem to mention aka CS).
He plays guitar on the track.

(He has CDs out on his own too as Yusuf Islam.)

I will refrain from commenting about DP's lack of wisdom here.

Then I will refrain from mentioning that you just did Image

Seriously, it is not him, it is his publicists and those who engineer the promotions and CD sales who insist on linking his Cat Stevens monicker to his new persona. They worship the Holy Dollar, not him. They also bankroll the production and give him a percentage, which gives them the deciding vote on the contract that specifies how he is billed and promoted on the recorded product he essentially sells them

All that means he can and will disavow any choice or control over the mention of Cat Stevens each time it is done, but done it shall be.

When thinking of Dolly Parton, the letter "T" seems to come to mind quite a bit if you get my drift!
