That's cool.
I want that Gene bass! Kick ***! I would rather Gene kept that humbucker in it and never covered it in studs.. but I'm not him.. heheh.
Wow.. first Spector too. I wonder how much Gene's custom painted dragon Pedulla would go for.

I'd feel obligated to immerse that Spector in a vat of rubbing alcohol before touching it if I were the winner of that auction.

Weird. I have a '50s vintage Hoyer guitar that's very cool and beautiful. Looks like they fell on hard times and had to make do with lame-brained copies later on.

Leave Gene alone, he's in a class all his own.

Thankfully.
I used to be a huge Kiss fan, but seeing the way they have handled things since re-forming with Ace and Peter have made me disgusted. I will never spend another dime on them again.

According to Kevin ,we ought to ship alot of Spray Nine to San Francisco!
and Africa if we only get them to stop messing with Apes.

I clearly recall drooling over photos of Gene circa 1975 with an all black Gibson Ripper bass with an ebony fretboard and Les Paul-style headstock.
Twenty years later I finally bought myself a black Ripper bass - my main bass for the next ten years. I finally sold it to finance my 1975 4000 JG.
Whilst I was sad having to part with the Ripper I don't regret sacrificing it for the Rickenbacker at all.
Rock'n'roll all night and party every day!
