What's on the back of that body?

that didnt take long, Well whats on the back is the string ferrules and a battery box. If you look a lil closer the bridge is different and there is an extra pot and switch. Also the heel of the neck is gone.
I had a couple mods done do make the guitar suit me a little better. Specifically I added a piezo system and had the neck shaved down to fit my hand.
The other differences are just results of those mods. Like the piezo pickups were too big to fit under the origonal saddles (too much metal would have been ground off) so the bridge was replaced....
Right noe it is back in the custom shop gettin coil splts wired to push/pull tone pots.
Custom work done by Ed Roman guitars = they are amazing. Everyone who plays my guitar is stunned by it. Piezo sounds as good as a high level Ovation with better low range. and teh humbuckers sound better then PRS buckers....

only prob is I went from a rosewood (dark) fingerboard to a maple (light) one. and the dirt is driving me nuts. I wash my hands trhoughly befor eI play, but it must be dead skin cells comin off.
Noel,
any tips for cleaning it, or do you not have this problem?

I've not experienced any dirt-buildup, Josh.
My roseweood boards pick up more grime for some reason! Cheers, Noel

I didn't think of that... yes, my fretboard is high-gloss. So there you have it. If it bothers you immensely, one solution would be to send it to me!

not quite that bothered with it. lol. but nice try. I love my Ric.
The interesting part is that I can see what frets I use the most. Its kind of a reminder to mix things up, experiment with the parts of teh fretboard that arent dirty...
I guess the fact that this is my first "new" guitar is what makes me wanna keep it perfect. Oh well at least it lookes Like I play a lot...
thanks for teh responses..
