Parts question

Got a question. I have a 05' 4003 and a Nov. 73' 4001, are the tailpeice, bridge and pickups interchageable between the two? i am talking about hole spacings and so on. I was also wondering if anyone knows if there was several different versions of tone/vol knobs that came stock from 73', they look a touch fatter than what I have seen, and they have the silver top on them but no writing, a line and no dot.

They might be cheap replacement knobs. My 4001 had those when I got it. The proper ones aren't expensive or rare.

The hole spacing should be the same between 05 and 73. Does your 05 have the two extra screws that prevent pullup?

not sure the 73' has 5 screws, 3 under the bridge and the 2 more towards the back of the tailpiece, I am pretty much posisitve the 05' has the same 5, just not sure if they were spaced the same

I think the 5 screw versions all have the same spacing.
