Piezo Acoustic System on the Laguna

I have a friend that playes on of the Walnut beauties-the Laguna. It blew me away when I heard him play it live with the Piezo setting. It was like the hearing a real jumbo acoustic! What is the Piezo system that RIC has on it? Can you install one one any other Rick
