Actually..... This is a true Ric, right? If so, I might just see if I can get it for a very good price and refin it. Any thoughts?

I wonder if it is a legit 4003. The finish is totally unusual for a Rickenbacker instrument, plus the seller mentions 'standard' and 'stereo' outputs and says he's selling the bass for a friend...

If it is real, it is a 4001 from '73 to '75. There is a skunk stripe and a 1/2 inch spaced guard.
