Agreed.....but if someone wants it bad enough...I have no interest, but I know a lot of you do.
The players are the ones who get jobbed when you can't get the part anymore.

One went for $500 earlier this year. It does come with the surround which is worth something too.
Not defending him, but it's pretty close to the market.

How come the C64 horseshoe pickups are not available for purchase as parts ??? Somebody somewhere is making these horseshoe pickups and they are not available from Ric.

I believe John Hall said that once the first C series basses are out of warranty and when the infringement issues are resolved, the horseshoe will be available as a replacement part. John - please correct me if I'm mis-stating anything here.

and that's 2 grand for pickups that are probably demagnetized and muddy sounding!
