Blue Boy or Blue Burst?

I'm completely in a twist over this question.
I'm going to start the purchase of a 2nd 4003 and I can't decide on BBR or BB.
The price is the same. The difference is that the BBR is about 8 months out and the BB is in stock (I'd have to do layaway anyway, so it's kinda of a moot point).

Anyone got a pic of this "green" phenomenon?

The "green" phenomenom is this: RIC is using a clearcoat tint which has a tad of "yellow" in it. Blue turns to green with it. Its in every finish except for the oil finishes. FG looks great with it. And i've always wanted a Sea Green 350V63.......

Sorta true. At the factory, I saw a lineup of BBs of various batches in the drying racks, waiting to be completed. The colors ranged from light green (one or two) to the BB we all know.
I think the paint color itself might have varied from batch to batch.
Ugly is in the eye of the beholder. It's tough to drop one's macho preconceptions in order to to see beauty in pastels, but BB is a classic Rick color and quite a nice break from JG and FG everything. (Not that I don't love those finishes, too.) I guess the only color that leaves me a bit unimpressed is Desert Gold, but even this one comes alive with gold guards.

FWIW, I love pastel colors. If Ric had a pink pastel
color, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Macho nothing.. I just don't like Blue Boy. It's a nice sky blue.. but it doesn't seem right on a Rick. A nice pastel Pink would be different.. I'd get one as a joke.
I've seen a BBR 4003 on this forum, and they beat the hell out of BB IMHO.

I just got a new Blue Boy last week. It has a slight mint green tint to it. Really cool looking.
