Refinish for a bass

Post by chucksimms »

I don't know if you want to e-mail me privately on this one Mark, but I have a 4001CS that I'm considering refinishing. I hate to do it, but both the area where my forearm makes contact and the back where my body rests have resulted in dark brown patches on the bass. Two questions: could you match a similar colour that will resist discoloration, and could you give me an idea on the cost? (I'll probably do this in the late spring/early summer). Thanks, Chuck Simms
