So let me get this straight...The guy did a bad job making a pickguard, so he wants to sell it, and if the demand for bad pickguards is there...He'll make more...

He should get together with that mvp guy who makes those ugly eagle guitars.

Let me get this straight...man has beater bass, leopard skin cardboard PG, no knobs, no strings, lives in a tip in Reading (judging from the "Still Life with Sour Milk" photos)...but he needs 99p in a hurry, so...

Two guesses: 1.) He's on the dole; 2.) He rolls his own.

Someone needs to write a book called "EBay Pitiful"...

If a 4001 bass could have a nightmare about a pickguard, that's what it would look like.

The bass is already living on the set for "Eraserhead".

Whaddya think, guys, should his photo be the cover shot for the 2006 Forum Calendar?

"Rickenbacker changed the design of the 4003 slightly in 1974"

The seller has a firm grasp of changes to Ric basses over the years.

He will only sell to the UK. I was ready to hit that bid button, but I'm here in the states. You know good kindling is hard to find.

Plus, the shipping at the "International Rubbish Rate" would cost an arm and a leg...

It's a ten-day auction. No doubt about, he's wiley and knows his market!

In this case, "BIN it" is a wholly appropriate reponse...

Those are Egyptian symbols, "Eye of Horus" I believe, kind of swirled about with a photo editor like Photoshop then printed. Can't quite make out the trc.
