Chicago/Milwaukee/Madison/Rockford confluence?

I'm cross posting this in "bass" and "guitars" so please excuse me. I'm looking at arranging a Rickenbacker Confluence for the Chicago/Milwaukee/Madison/Rockford area sometime perhaps in April and want to get a non-commital headcount on how many folks and instruments might attend. I'd look at a Friday evening through Saturday event, probably in a hotel meeting room as all the past confluences. Lake Geneva (Wisconsin, not the one in Switzerland) seems like a centralized locale and a great place to visit. I'm figuring on drawing mostly drive-to enthusiasts, figuring not many would want to fly with their Ricks (although Marc Seligman just might). So, no commitments, but pipe in if you think you might attend and how many instruments you might bring.

Possibly, 1-6 instruments.

I will probably be in the area the weekend of March 30-April 2, if that will work....

....Would like to bring 3 guitars (acoustic, 381, and 325) and an amp. Will be staying in the Rosemont/O'Hare area, as my hubby has a business-related show to attend there.

I'd show up; it's only about 45 minutes from Pewaukee. I'd bring my new 350v63 MG and my 330/12 (and any others that come my way between now and then).

So, Randy, you're a cheesehead? You're right around the corner from where I work (Waukesha). We should make some time to get acquainted.

Any other cheeseheads out there?

Have you guys heard Michael Feldman's slogan for Wisconsin?

"Come on up and smell our Dairy Air!"

(say it kind of fast)

Feldman is a genius. I rarely get to hear, what is it, "Whadyouknow"? It's aired Saturday late mornings and I'm usually doing chores and running around. Very clever person.

I'm a cheesehead (Madison area) looking for a confluence. I've got a couple guitars I could bring.

On an earlier schedule, my family and I will be in Racine for a few days between Christamas and New Year's, but I know that is a busy time for all of us.... Still, if somebody wants to put together something on that short a notice it could be fun!

That's a possibility, Melissa. I'll be gone 24-26 of December, but back as of the 27th. Maybe something on the 31st? Let's keep in touch.

I don't know if it's going to work or not; it looks like we will be leaving Racine on Dec. 29th, as we have to be back home before New Year's.... but let's keep in touch and see what happens.... email me off-list if you want and maybe we can work out details for this month or later for the spring....
