Could someone do me the favor of making several measurements of their 650?
Drop from fretboard to body top (max and min)
Neck thickness at nut and 12th fret
Headstock length from nut and width (max)
Thickness of the tailpiece, from body to the part the saddles move on.
Any help would be appreciated
Josh

Thank you Ken,
Im a little embarrassed to say but Im going to attempt to build a guitar over winter break. With a little help that is.
Ill be supplying all the ambition and fullscale drawings, and my Gpa (hobbiest cabinet maker) will be suppling wood knowhow.
Ive got some experience with wood, but hes got a lot more.
I figured rather then designing a whole guitar I would use the functional dimensions of a guitar I know I like, but since my Dakota was stolen I have nothing to measure.
Dont worry, I wont be building my own RIC. As much as I would like a 350 or another 650, I also respect the company.
Im taking style q's from this guitar
Its no Ric, but Im also partial to the over the top custom look.

Good luck with your project Josh. I built a neck through a few years ago and I am getting ready to start a semi-hollow body, hopefully this winter.
