I was wondering if anyone has seen any BBR 660/12's. I've got one on order and dying to get it. Has anyone seen any in person?

I do not think they have built any yet.
I ordered a 620/12 BBR in January '05. From looking on this forum and on the Rick forum, it looks like they will be building 600 12s sometime between Jan and March '06. But you never know where one's order is on their schedule ;-(

I've got one on order too...since summer. Anxiously awaiting its arrival.

Mark - Thanks for the info. I'm new the world of Rick. Now that I understand that the "color of the year" term is a little loose, I'll have to ratchet back my anticipation a notch. Cheers!

It isn't loose from our end. It must be ordered during the year in question, no ifs ands or buts.

Good things take time! Place your order during the appropriate year & the waiting period is from all accounts between roughly a year to 18 months for regular production models (LK's etc. excluded). This is actually a good planning feature if your budget is already over stretched (as is mine). Order near the end of the year & wait a year = 2 years to come up with the rest of the money for your guitar.
Besides, a year isn't really that long to wait. I've waited 25 years to get my mitts on a doubleneck, & I didn't even know if I'd ever find one for sale. At least you know for sure that there's a definite time frame involved when you place an order for a new guitar.
And a Rick is ALWAYS worth the wait!

I ordered a 350BBR in January and changed it to a 660BBR in April. It's been a while, but I know it'll be worth the wait.

I have seen one actually, it was for sale online somewhere back around April, I don't remember where. There were pics around the forum. It was really pretty.

Here's a 660 BBR:

I can't remember where I found this pic, but it was early this year. It is probably the one John is talking about, because I think this was on the Forum.

John, that seems to be the concensus around here, though Ben added that the combination looked particularly good in person.

Oh, Lindsay, that was indeed the one that was posted here.

White would look better but gold really wasn't that bad...
