I am not a big Gibbue fan, EXCEPT of these big old jazz boxes.
This is the FINEST S400CESN I have ever seen. I'm sure it's even better than the pictures.
I sincerely hope it goes to a good home. In fact, I hope someone of the quality of Jon Kellerman sees this auction. This is Jon's cuppa tea.
Good luck, Ron, and do toast it when it's gone!

Thanks Paul, I'm going to hate to give it up but if I can get this kind of money I'll suffer through by getting a new kitchen remodel for the Mrs!

Geez that's a nice looking guitar! I hope you sell it for your price Ron.
BTW thanks for repying to my Bigsby Q on VT. I would've thought at one time the crowd over there would've been all over me like a rash for something like that! How times have changed...

That Super 400 is stunning. Outside the range of my toy budget, but I can dream.
Two of the brightest lights in my musical universe of the last few years have been Scotty Moore and Les Paul. I love them both, but Scotty has always had cooler guitars.
Hope the sale works out for you.

Thanks Gerry and Noel. I've received much more interest than originally thought and have received many interesting and high dollar offers over my starting bid (as it is listed in VG this month as well)!

Do we get the hear the story of where it came from, and why it's still so perfect after 50 years?

It had only been in two or three other owners hands before me. A collector acquaintance and the original owner and possibly one other.

I find it amazing that Scotty's own website used your guitar to illustrate the perfect example of what he used to play.
If this sale finances a new kitchen... you'd better eat like a king for YEARS!!!!!
