Houston, we have a problem...

The linked page is "Not available."
So...if there's to be no visual aids,
could you perhaps *describe* the
instrument in question?

Thanks so large,
PHF

If in fact, I could put up a picture of my 325V59, I could show you what a 'short scale' looks like but, it doesn't seem to work for me for unknown reasons, sorry. Anyway, that pic looks to be a 610, one pick-up large white pick guard, two knobs, etc. Image

For those who can't see it, try going up a directory, then click on "avail_used11217.jpg"

The guitar is a 425- probably from 1964 if the knobs and truss cover are original.

It's a full scale guitar, and in the US would range in price from about $500.00 to $1000.00. Subtract 50-cents for the missing toggle switch.

Ok, then It's nothing for me. i thought, it's a model 900 or 1000. the shop had only the picture under "used guitars"

BTW, Michael, that really isn't a 610 at all. I have a 620/12, so I know what a 610 looks like: 2 PUs, a small pickguard, a ric bridge and the trapeze or the r-tailpiece.

I forgot, a 610 has five knobs and the jackhole on the side

Florian,
I am probably the least knowledgeable person on Ric guitars on this site. My 'guess' was do to not having the info in front of me about the different models at the time. However, my point was that the guitar you were showing was not a 'short scale'. I will try to be more informed in the future about what model might be what. Sorry... Image
