Anybody ever seen anything like this before. It's the Electric Vibrola version AND a tenor guitar. It has a wooden neck and bakelite body. Any information would be appreciated. I'm guessing late 30's?

Thanks,
Graham

I've seen it, the vibrola guts are missing from it which hurts it real bad. The hardware on the body looks as though it was made for a tenor setup from the get-go, but being that it's so old it may have been converted a long time ago and still look legit...YMMV..

We can rebuild it ! Well we'll have a go anyway Image
The cam to the Kauffman is still there, so a motor and pulley system is needed. Sounds simple to me, but then again Image

Graham, LOL..I think John Hall has 4 or 5 of these in the 'attic'...

Not counting the 4-string Bantars, it's only the second Rickenbacker tenor guitar I've ever seen--and I have the other one.
