What's with the nameplate? This is the first time ever I see 'Made in U.S.A.' upside down on a Rick TRC. Anyone?

I noticed the TRC right away also. That's the only one like that I've ever seen. Are you sure its real?

Cool bass. Its kinda Blackstar-looking.

A nameplate misprint that got through Ric installers and Ric QC---I doubt that.

Misprint = rare (methinks). And beware of that treble pickup - I'm sure it is HOT! And last but not least, that is one great-looking Rick.

Sergio, your right on the money again with that pickup being Hot Wow it makes my SVT distort. with ease.

Both toaster and horseshoe are equally as loud.

This ones very different serial is zd xxxx, that would make it a 1986 with a split guard? the case has gold hardware on it.

I lifted up the horsey surround to find out there are one set of screw holes making this horseshoe original to this bass.A high gain surround has a different screw pattern.

That JG has a definite greenish cast, at least on my monitor. The black plexi guards are dead black, but the JG looks green alongside them.

I would suspect that this is due to the CV yellowing. It does strange things to colors...
