I played this 1996Re C64

I went to the shop and saw the guitar.
It was really good! I ordered Black Solid-top,but The 1996Re is also good. It sounds more "Wood" feeling depend on the F-hole...
Mmmmm,I want both!!

FYI, the shipments to Japan this next year will have 30 degree (aka 2 o'clock) -F- holes, not like this one. Also, there's another feature of these (that's present in the photo) that I'm not going to talk about until next year.

Hmmm; no 3rd fret dot, single dot at 12th fret and nothing past the 15th..but a pair of beauties

Richard: I've owned (3) 3/4-scale Ricks ranging from '64-'80 and none of them had 3rd fret dots.

sorry, never seen that before, I'm a bass player, back into my corner, pour a wee dram of scotlands finest exports and wait til the morn. and then go pick up my 4001c64 tomorrow morn, and then back to my corner again, with another wee dram, and reaquaint myself with a new bass. last one I had was a late 60's 4000...thanks guys

Yes if you look CLOSELY in the f-hole you can see 'John Simmons gets one of these before anyone else..and FREE TOO' written inside.....(hee hee)
