So I started a thread (rant) on sat about a gig that we did where our guitarist wasted a lot of time between songs tuning.
Well tonight we played again (smaller show with more bands) and we played the same number of songs but in almost 1/2 the time I swear. Fast transitions, no broken strings, great energy.
Blasting my guitarist for being unprepared and slow between songs did him some good and this show went great.
Old dogs can learn new tricks.

Can't see the link...
Good for getting the guitarist act together. Their fiddling can be an irritation...

I had a good rehearsal tonight ... we covered a lot of ground and there was no BS ... and I am seriously hooked on my 2000 series basses ... my 4003 and 4004 basses may be relegated to wall art status ... my white 2030 has a thin neck like a jazz bass but it is 2 3/8" at the bridge ... the hb2 pickups make a p-bass sound wimpy ... SNARL!!!

Heck, even my soap opera band has been getting along...been busy, making some real cash for a change. We're booked NYE now, and after that money goes around we'll only be a little more than $400 away from paying off the PA. And we have to June to do it...
So it's starting to look like Hell is in the northern tier...maybe in Michigan (there is a town named "Hell" in SE Michigan!

) But the effects are reaching down here to FLA! COuld just be the cool weather...
