Nothing set in stone yet. Ted Staberow and I are going to scout hotels in the Lake Geneva (Wisc.) area Friday. I'm thinking April, and Easter is April 16. It might be easier and cheaper to get a hotel meeting room on Easter weekend, but would that nix attendance? Of those of you who thought you might be able to come, would Easter weekend be a deal breaker? Looking at Friday noon to Sunday noon. Feedback, please.

I'd still be in. I'll just bring my wife and make a full weekend of it. I could certainly see it hurting participation though.
Maybe the weekend after so some folks can escape after so much "family time".
EDIT.....actually it may change my plans. I was thinking of the previously mentioned Chicago area confluence. My wife may not find much to do in Wisconson and I try to be at home (or together with my wife) for holidays.

If I would have done a simple search I would have seen that it is only 90 minutes from Chicago......still think a week other than a holiday week may be better for most. It won't keep me away though.....nice try.

Then I should clarify. This is the "previously mentioned Chicago area Confluence." We're looking at Lake Geneva as it is equidistant from Milwaukee, Chicago, Madison, and Rockford. We're just getting going, and it may end up not being Lake Geneva. Don't make your reservations yet, I'm just trying to get the "feel" of dates from likely attendees.

I agree that Easter weekend may not be the best idea.

That weekend is fine for me. I have a brother in Milwaukee that I can stay with, so lodging isn't an issue, and that weekend is free.

That weekend is fine for me as well as any other in April. Might have to juggle a gig or two but it would help if we could nail this down sooner than later.

OK. Ted and I looked at a couple places near Kenosha Friday. Lake Geneva was a pipe dream. Touristy place, but the hotels aren't suitable for what we need. Can't make final arrangements until Monday at the soonest. Still looking around. Will try to nail it down soon.

I'm already checking flights.
NY into Milwaukee is $225 RT, and NY to Chicago is $118RT
What were you guys thinking? Friday night and Saturday night? or Sat and Sun days?
