Making The Epiphone Casino Sound Better

I just received my nylon saddles from
Fab Gear. For those of you who have an Epiphone reissue or an original from the 1960s, this modification is certainly worth your effort. Beatle enthusiasts will recall that the Beatles had nylon saddles on their Casinos. Not only will you be impressed by the look of these FabGear parts but you will also appreciate the great sound that results from their installation. These nylon saddles still provide the resonance of the Casino but with a slightly less harsh sound attained with the metal saddles. To my way of listening the resulting sound is closer that that achieved by the Fab Four during their recordings from 1966 until 1969. The best news is that the saddles are of very good quality, install quickly and you can always go back to the metal saddles should you wish. FabGear gets an A in my book. By the way, here is a photo of the nylon saddles installed on the bridge of my Casino.

Peter,
Many thanks for the glowing compliments!! I certainly appreciate your review of them and I'm very pleased that you were happy with them.
I haven't actually placed them on the site yet, as lately my time has been pretty limited and I haven't had the opportunity to revamp it and add a lot of the newer items I started offering. If anyone would like to order any, please feel free to email me through the site at the FabGear email address there or through the one that's linked to my name on here.
Sets of saddles are $30 per set, and I also have foil Es for the pickguards and black trim washers for the toggle switches. Those are both $2 per.
Again, I'm very thankful you decided to get a set from me and were satisfied with them. Many happy hours of enjoying them!!
Regards,
Jeff

I've tried contacting Fabgear but have had no reply. Does anybody know if he's still around or, failing that, anywhere else that I can get some of these Epiphone parts?

Graham,
I emailed you back this morning, but please be aware I don't check the FabGear mail much lately as I've been super busy with other things.
You only contacted me less than 2 weeks ago, but I do apologize.
I am not currently making any or selling any of these parts as I've been too preoccupied with modifying and customizing guitars for people as well as other things in general.

If you ever get to doing this stuff again, please let me know.
