Do they have the Fender logo on them? I was thinking of building a Steve Harris style P and/or a Geddy style J and I would prefer the logo on the headstock. Dunno why, I'm just picky. Most likely I want it there because my friends would make fun of a no name instrument. Plus I could pass them off as real Fenders. Image

I only want to do this because both the Geddy and Steve basses have maple fretboards. Only the expensive Fenders have that. The MIM ones only have Rosewood. The CIJ ones I can't find for a decent price. IMHO Fenders look better with maple boards. Allparts has a Geddy block neck and maple P necks. I have seen a couple allparts necks on ebay with the logo. I'm not sure if the original owner added some sort of decal or if they came that way. I have also seen them without the logo. Is it an option? I've emailed allparts about this, but they never wrote back.

Also are these stronger than normal Fender bass necks?

the allparts jazz neck does not have the fender decal on it ... it is a strong neck well made but it has a chunky C profile ... it feels uncomfortable in my hand ... it feels chunkier than a p-bass neck ... I like the mighty mite necks ... but them come sealed only ... to keep them from going s curve you need to finish them ... the allparts necks are finished and have the block inlays and binding ... they look nice ... warmoth makes the best parts ... Allparts and mighty mite make good stuff as well ...

Is there a place where I can find a Fender decal? And if Allparts isn't good, then I might do with mighty mite or warmoth for a neck. But I'd still need the decal.

They do sell 'em on the Bay from time to time, keep your eyes "peeled".
I've seen Gibson, Fender, Hamer, a lot of other brands as well, but thankfully, no Rickenbacker. Image

I bought a reall nice WD music products neck of of the 'bay a few years ago for $65.00.

Its quality rivaled some Warmoth necks I've owned.

Just for the record...
Fender's neck has always been too chunky of a C profile for me.
Must be my small-to-average sized hands.
