Came across these while looking for something else. Don't know anything about them (what condition, if they're real, etc) and I have no connection with the seller, but for someone near S.F. it might be worth checking out:
"Rickenbacker 4001 ivory bass. $600"
"4001 Ric. Black. Mirror pickguard, sealed gears. $600"
"Rickenbacker bass with Alembic pickups
This is what we've been doing with our huge pile of Alembic pickups. Alembic made replacement pickups for Ric, so this lucky guy gets to have his neck-thru Ric basically turned into an Alembic bass. $800" This one has a pic at:

also,
"4001 Ric copy. Seville, good quality model. Black. $350"
These and a lot of non-Ricks were at:

I tried to get "online" with my ZX81, but it just wouldn't have it. Then when I got the Sinclair Spectrum (a 48k one, not the basic 16k) with its cassette tape drive... well, as they say, the rest is history.

Commodore 64 sprite programming totally rules, dudes.
In 1978 there were maybe 100 guys with internet access and all they did was post ASCII art porn using PDP-11s...

And things certainly have changed a lot since then, haven't they...

I was making sarcastic reference to how much things haven't changed regarding the Internet being used mainly for posting porn. Of course, now there's lots of educational violence, too...
If only its power could be used for 'Good' instead of 'Mediocre'...

back to the original website, he has a "new" tbird for $1000 but it wasn't the finish i was looking for. he's got some odd stuff and obviously hates the "metal" guitars.

This reminds me of the song "The Internet is for Porn" from the Avenue Q musical.
"The internet is really really great . . . FOR PORN!"
