Hi-Gain P/ups on Ebay

Hi all,
I'm biding on these Hi-Gains:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7379689009&ssPageName=STRK:MEBI:IT

The seller has agreed to ship to Australia if I win the auction. As this is pretty rare I'd appreciate it if I could avoid a bidding war with anyone on the forum. Hi-Gains come up reasonably often on the 'Bay but sellers who'll ship to Oz don't and funds are tight.

They're to go in my Grestch Synchromatic, hollow body Les Paul shape. I love the Hi-Gain sound and I think they'll sound great in this (same guitar without the f-hole):

I have always found that the best way to stop other people bidding on auctions, is to keep quiet, and not advertise to the world that there is an auction that they too should look at. As soon as I read your post, I looked up the auction, as did probably everyone else who read it, and that's bad news for low prices.

I would never comment on a legitimate, active auction and have, in the past, been quite annoyed when other people have highlighted items that may have gone otherwise unnoticed. This is ten times more annoying when the person posting has no interest in the item themselves, and is simply giving the auction free advertising...

I think I'm starting to ramble, but anyway, in summary, the auction you highlighted above, ended at $93.00, the auction you kept quiet about and won, ended at $66.00. If that was your plan all along, then you've played well, and I'd say you've won the match!
