Live On The Radio

The 'little band I play with', The Perry Weissman 3, will be performing live in the studio of KGNU, Boulder Colorado's community station, this Wednesday, 1/11. I believe we'll be on sometime between 9 and 11 pm (MST)...I'll post again if I find out exactly when we'll be on. It should be a good show...we'll have both guitars (including Eric Allen of The Apples In Stereo), our vibes player (Craig Gilbert, drummer for Dressy Bessy), and 2/3 of our horn section (provided our trumpet player's new Peruvian bride lets him out of the house for the occasion). You can hear the show on 88.5 FM in Boulder or 1390 AM in Denver...or streaming live at

Hoo boy...I'm not saying a word. If Bob wants to weigh in with some advice, I'll pass it along.
I did find out our actual time slot...we're set to play the last half hour of a show called The Western Front...10:30 to 11 pm 'Mountain Time'.

I think she is...I haven't met her yet, as he just recently brought her to the States. He's a really sweet Christian guy, and I'm sure she's a really sweet Christian girl. He met her while doing some kind of volunteer relief work down there. It was kind of a whirlwind thing...meet the folks, run down to the church, get hit with a bunch of rice...followed immediately by pregnancy. Good on 'em, y'know...and I mean that. The problem is she's gone straight into tyrannical mode, making him turn down gigs, etc. And this guy is a great musician who's never made it a secret that playing is his career...more than that, it's who he is.
Ladies, ladies...why do you do this to us? I really can't stand that "you'll do...as soon as I get you straightened out" jive...
