Believe it or not, I received a lecture from my wife that I have spent to much this year on Ric's already (she didn't mention anything about Ampeg though).

This could be a good one. Someone get this...
If it's a 21 fretter, please just don't tell me.

The add is old, but who knows...

Oooh, and it's lefty. But it's in France. The ad is almost a year old, too.

Hmmm, a left-handed, 21-fret, 1971 Rickenbacker 4001. Now there are two. Peter Levett, I'd follow up on this...

Because its a 71, chances of it being a 21 fretter are slim.especially a lefty.

21 fretters were made for less then 6 months NOT a standard option between late 70 early 71.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is one of a pair. Usually making two of everything is somewhat standard practice.

You know there aren't many of these out there...

If it really is what the guy says it is that would be awesome, but I'd bet that there are 'errors in the details', as they say...I'm playing the skeptic here....
