Did anyone happen to see Saturday Night Live last night? We got in late and I turned the TV on, and caught the last few minutes.... One of the guitarists in the band they had on was playing a beautiful turquoise 660, and I think it had oven knobs.... Very cool-looking! No idea who they were, though.

I saw it too, very cool sounding guitar.
"DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE" was the band.

I think it was Midnight Blue. Always nice to hear a Ric high in the mix. He took a short solo and played some interesting fills.
Hear, hear!

A weird Ric siting: Rockabilly guitarist Billy Hancock pictured in the Washington Post this morning clutching a 330 FG (since it's a b/w photo, I'm not positive about the FG part). Strange.

Yes, as part of review of Link Wray tribute show in Maryland Sunday night, featuring Jack Casady and a reforming of The Triumphs (minus Jorma).
